ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed by a Special Grade Conductor of the respondent Corporation who attained superannuation on 31.01.2019.

2. According to the writ petitioner, his terminal benefits were released only on 23.09.2019 after a delay of 8 months. Hence, he has sent a representation on 15.08.2023 seeking interest for the belated disbursement of the terminal benefits. Since there was no response, the present writ petition has been filed.
3. Considering the above said facts, the respondent is directed to pay interest at the rate of 6% from the due date till 22.09.2019 within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
4. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
