ORDER

The petitioner seeks a direction to the second respondent to secure the accused in Crime No. 21/2024 and to file a final report. 2.It is the case of the petitioner that he is a victim of online fraud and has suffered a loss of Rs.25,42,000/-.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the accounts of certain suspects were frozen; that a total sum of Rs.28,98,399/- has been seized so far and that since the accused could not be traced and they are all from North India, it would take some time to file the final report. 4.Considering the above submissions, this Court is of the view that it would suffice to direct the petitioner to move the concerned learned Magistrate for the return of money, provided the amount of loss suffered by the petitioner has already been seized by the respondents. 2/4

5.With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
