Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorari, to call for the records pertaining to impugned order passed by the 2nd respondent in Na.Ka.No.3710/A2/2023/U.Pa.A.324/03 dated 29.11.2023 and quash the same as illegal.

Heard both sides.

2.The petitioner challenges the impugned order dated 29.11.2023 on the grounds set out in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition. 3.I need not go into the said contentions for the simple reason that the writ petition is not maintainable. The learned Special Government Pleader points out that the registration certificate under Food Safety and 2/4

Standards Act, 2006 is in the name of Savariraj. The said Savariraj is none other than the petitioner's brother. If at all, it is only Savariraj who can approach this Court for relief. Merely because the impugned order dated 29.11.2023 is addressed to the petitioner, that will not by itself confer any locus standi. The person in whose name the registration certificate stands will have to come before this Court. This writ petition is dismissed as not maintainable. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
