Heard both sides.
2.The petitioner is eking out his livelihood as a street vendor. Street vendors have certain statutory rights under the provisions of the Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014. The petitioner has given a representation dated 24.11.2023 calling upon the second respondent to recognize his rights. I do not want to go into the factual aspects. This is because the writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself. 3.The second respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's petition mentioned representation on merits and in accordance with law in light of the provisions set out in the Street Vendors (Protection of 2/4
Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014. Such an order shall be passed by the second respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
