ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the Special Court under TNPID Act, Madurai to expedite the trial in C.C. No. 2 of 2019.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is the victim, who has suffered a loss of Rs.60,000/- and sought the indulgence of this Court for expediting the trial pending before the trial Court.

3. The learned Government Advocate shockingly reacted that the petitioner had not even approached the authorities by lodging a complaint. It was further stated that the investigating agency has been diligently conducting the investigation and is fairly addressing the grievances of numerous victims. If the petitioner has any grievance, he may be directed to approach the appropriate forum to lodge a complaint.

4. Recording the same, the petitioner is directed to lodge a complaint forthwith, both in person and by registered post, before the first respondent. On receipt of the complaint, the first respondent police is directed to take appropriate action in the manner known to law. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
