ORDER

Heard both sides.

2.The writ petitioner wants to purchase 131⁄2 cents of land from 4 vendors. Sale deed dated 11.09.2025 was executed in her favour by the vendors and it was presented for registration. However, the registering authority invoking the bar under Section 22A of the Registration Act, 1908 declined to register the document. Challenging the same, this writ petition has been filed.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner points out that the patta standing in the name of 4 vendors has been enclosed in the typed set of papers. The petitioner is purchasing the same only as an agricultural land. The petitioner gives an undertaking that without getting approval from the competent authority, she would not develop the land. She specifically states that unless the land in question regularised as plot, no housing development takes place.

4.Recording the said undertaking, the order impugned in the writ petition is quashed. The parties are permitted to re-present the document. It shall be registered and released subject to the fulfilment of the other usual formalities.
