ORDER

The above writ petition has been filed for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 2 and 3 to survey the land in S.No.2/4B at Vilathikulam Village, Vilathikulam Taluk, Thoothukudi District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 20.06.2023.

2. The entire grievance of the petitioner is that after the alienation of the lands settlement deeds etc of the lands, 25 cents remained with the petitioner. However, when the respondents attempted to survey the lands, they found that it was short of 3 cents.

3. A written instruction has been received by the learned Additional Government Pleader stating that the respondents are unable to proceed with the survey only on the ground that S.Nos.2/4B1 and 2/4B2 have been further subdivided. 2/5

4. Considering the grievance of the petitioner and the fact that subdivisions had taken place, the entire extent including the further sub-division in S.Nos.2/4B1 and 2/4B2 shall be surveyed and measured after giving due notice to all the owners of the respective properties and on scrutinizing their documents of title/revenue records. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
