This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent herein not to harass the petitioner. 2.The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondent police may be directed not to harass the petitioner herein. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that the petitioner's wife has lodged a complaint and the same has been referred to the Social Welfare Officer concerned. Depending upon the report to be given by the Social Welfare Officer, further course of action would be taken.

4.Considering the rival submissions made, this criminal original petition is closed with a direction to the petitioner to appear before the Social Welfare Officer and to co-operate with an enquiry. The respondent police has to take a decision on the complaint, within a period of four weeks 2/4

from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. During the enquiry, the petitioner need not be harassed.
