ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by an Assistant Manager in the Thanjavur Central Co-operative Bank Limited, Thanjavur, seeking a mandamus as against the first respondent to dispose of the appeal filed under Section 153 of Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act, 1983.

2. The petitioner herein had suffered an order at the hands of the second respondent on 05.05.2022. Challenging the same, he has filed an appeal before the first respondent on 01.09.2022.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

4. Considering the fact that the appeal is pending for more than one year, this Court is inclined to direct the first respondent herein to dispose of 2/4

the appeal on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
