PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.419 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police. ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A1, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 13.11.2023 for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 294(b), 332, 307 and 1/3

506(ii) of IPC in Crime No.419 of 2023, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant is the Special Sub Inspector of Police attached to the respondent police Station. On 12.11.2023, when the defacto complainant was in patrol duty along with the another Sub Inspector of Police, they stopped a vehicle bearing Reg.No.TN-75-AR-7385, which was driven by the accused persons and demanded them to give vehicle particulars. But, they refused to give the same. When the same was questioned by the police officials, there was wordy altercation between them and the accused persons assaulted the police officials and caused simple injury. Hence, the case. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the petitioner is an innocent and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. Hence, he seeks bail.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that even though, the injured persons were discharged from the hospital, considering the allegation attributed against the accused persons that they assaulted the two police officials, he strongly objected to grant bail to the petitioner.

5.Considering the nature of allegations levelled as against the petitioner, this 2/3

Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
