ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 379 IPC in Crime No.96 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 1/3

2.The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant is having 5 goats and on 19.11.2023, at about 11.45 pm., A1 and others stolen one goat worth about Rs.10,000/- and on seeing the village people, the accused persons fled away from the scene of occurrence. Hence, the case.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the petitioner is an innocent and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. Hence, he seeks anticipatory bail. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.sid) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the investigation in this case is pending. 5.Considering the seriousness of the offence committed by the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
