ORDER : This Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody for the offences punishable under Sections 8(c), 20(b)(ii) (C), 25 and 29(1) of NDPS Act, in Cr.No.219 of 2024 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. The petitioner is in judicial custody from 15.07.2024.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the other accused was illegal possession of 16.30 kgs of ganja. Based on their confession, the respondent police searched the petitioner's house and seized 8.5 k.g of ganga. Hence, this case.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and senior citizen and he is falsely implicated in this case. The petitioner is in judicial custody for more than one year. Hence, he seeks bail.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent opposed for grant of bail to the petitioner.

5. The present petitioner had already filed Crl.O.P.(MD) No. 1500 of 2025. This Court had dismissed the bail application vide order dated 03.02.2025 and directed the trial court to complete the trial within six months from the date of receipt of a copy of that order. Thereafter, the trial court submitted a letter dated 12..09.2025 and sought extension of time. Vide order dated 14.11.2025, this Court has granted extension for further period of six months. In view of the same, this Court is not inclined to consider the bail application.

6. Accordingly, this criminal original petition stands dismissed.
