The petitioners herein are arrayed as Accused Nos.1 to 4 in C.C.No.56 of 2008, on the file of the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Puthapandi. They filed this application under the provisions of Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to quash the charge sheet pertaining to C.C.No.56 of 2008.

2. Today, when the case is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the first

respondent represented that on 17.06.2016 itself, the case pertaining to this petition was disposed of, in which the petitioners are acquitted from all the charges.

3. The submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) is recorded. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are dismissed.
