ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by a retired Block Statistical Inspector, seeking a Mandamus as against the respondents to regularize the pay scale from the date of her promotional post as Statistical Inspector and consequential direction to pay the arrears and refixation of terminal benefits.

2. A perusal of the typedset of papers indicate that on 16.12.2020, the 1st respondent has issued a communication to the 2nd respondent, directing the 2nd respondent to initiate steps for conferment of selection grade and other benefits to the writ petitioner. Consequently, the 2nd respondent had forwarded all the documents to the 1st respondent by his proceedings, dated 19.04.2021 for verification. Thereafter, neither the office of the 1st respondent nor the 2nd respondent have made progress in the said issue. Hence, the present writ petition.

3. Considering the above said facts, the 1st respondent is directed to consider the proposal and the documents submitted by the 2nd respondent herein on 19.04.2021 and if he finds it to be appropriate, it 2/4

shall be again forwarded to the 2nd respondent for implementation of his order. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve

(12) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
