ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition had been filed to direct direct the respondents 1 to 3 to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner and her family members as per Section 15-A of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (POA) Act, 1989 by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 20.09.2023.
2.The case of the petitioner is that the representation given by the petitioner is not considered by the respondents. Hence, this petition. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner enquiry has been undertaken by the third respondent and two cases in Cr.Nos. 174 and 182 of 2023 were registered against the third party. The second respondent, who is the Deputy Superintendent of Police also went to the village of the petitioner and made an enquiry. During the course of enquiry, both sides were summoned and advised not to create any law and order issues. 2/4
Apart from that frequent patroling duty is also conducted in the said village, especially in the place, where the Panchayat Board Office is situated. The petitioner also advised to contact the second respondent at any time, if any trouble arises.
3.In view of the above said appropriate action taken by the second respondent, the petitioner shall abide the directions given by the second respondent.
