ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition is filed to transfer the investigation in Crime No.164/2023 on the file of third respondent police from third respondent to fourth respondent police or any other investigation agency under the supervision of second respondent.
2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the erstwhile investigation officer deleted the names of some of the accused and now a new investigation officer has taken charge and he is ready to conduct investigation properly.
3. Recording the said undertaking given by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, let the investigation be completed within a period of five months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In view of 2/5
the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor and the mistake committed by the erstwhile investigation officer, let the Superintendent of Police who is the second respondent may monitor the investigation. There is no question of transfer of investigation at this stage.
