ORDER
This writ petition is filed seeking direction to the respondents to consider the petitioners application dated 24.07.2025 made through a proper channel for grant of pension in the light of order of the Honble Supreme court of India in UCO Bank Vs. Vijay Kumar Handa in Civil Appeal No. 5922 of 2024 dated 03.04.2025 and in consonance with the relevant Rules governing the service of the petitioner 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Counsel appearing for the Respondents has placed on record of communication of the 2nd Respondent dated 20.08.2025. A perusal of the said communization would indicate that the petitioner's request had been rejected as ineligible by considering his representation dated 24.07.2025. 2/4
3. In view of the same, this court is of the view that there is no further adjudication is required to be made in the present writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition is closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the said communication dated 20.08.2025, if he is so advised. No costs.
