India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to disburse the appropriate compensation to the petitioner and his sister for the land acquisition situated at Survey No.226/1A and 1B to the extent of 1 Acre 35 Cents in Marungoor Group, Thiruvadanai Taluk, Ramanathapuram District by considering petitioner's representation dated 17.09.2025 within the period stipulated by this Court.

By this Writ Petition, the petitioner seeks a direction for the disbursement of appropriate compensation to him and his sister for the acquisition of the land in survey No.226/1A and 1B to the extent of 1 acre and 35 cents.
2. Learned Government Advocate accepts notice for all the respondents. He has placed on record a copy of the Notification under subsection (1) of Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Acquisition of Land for Adi Dravidar Welfare Schemes Act, 1978. He has also placed on record the proceedings dated 18.02.2000 relating to the fixation of 2/5
compensation.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the compensation mentioned therein is grossly inadequate. He seeks leave to challenge such order.
4. In case the petitioner and his sister intend to receive the compensation amount, such amount shall be disbursed to them upon application within three (3) months from the date of such application along with interest in accordance with law. Otherwise, it is open to them to challenge such order in accordance with law.
