ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by a Revenue Assistant challenging the order of suspension, dated 30.07.2020.

2. According to the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, the petitioner was placed under suspension on certain charges on 30.07.2020. A charge memo was issued to him on 08.10.2021. The petitioner has submitted his explanation on 01.11.2021. This Court by its order in W.P(MD)No.406 of 2022, dated 11.01.2022 had directed the authorities to appoint an Enquiry Officer and conclude the enquiry proceedings expeditiously.

3. In compliance with the said order, the 1st respondent herein has appointed the Regional Director of Minicipal Administration, Salem as an Enquiry Officer. It is agreed by both the parties that the enquiry has been completed on 20.05.2022 but the report is yet to be submitted to the 1st respondent.

4. Considering the above said facts, the 3rd respondent is directed to submit his report to the 1st respondent herein within a period of four

(4) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The 1st respondent is directed to pass final orders within a period of eight (8) weeks thereafter.

5. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
