ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by a Town Planning Inspector in the Municipal Administration Department seeking a mandamus to dispose of his appeal pending before the first respondent herein.

2. The petitioner was suspended by an order of the second respondent, dated 02.03.2021. The petitioner has filed an appeal before the first respondent on 29.01.2023 and the same has been received and acknowledged by the first respondent. The petitioner has sent a reminder on 06.03.2023 seeking early disposal of his appeal. Since there is no response, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the second respondent. 2/4

4. Considering the above said facts, the first respondent herein is directed to dispose of the appeal filed by the writ petitioner on 29.01.2023 within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
