ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for 1/3
the offences punishable under Sections 341, 395, 397 and 506(ii) IPc in Crime No.153 of 2023, seek anticipatory bail.
2.The case of the prosecution is that on 05.08.2023, when the defacto complainant was taking as sum of Rs.8,00,000/- in a bag and went in his two wheeler, five persons came in 2 two wheeler and waylaid the defacto complainant and one accused sprinkled chilli powder over them and snatched cash bag from the defacto complainant and escaped from the scene of occurrence. Hence the case. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are innocent persons and they have not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. Hence, he seeks anticipatory bail. 4.The learned Government Advocate(Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the petitioners and other accused waylaid the defacto complainant and snatched a sum of Rs.8,00,000/- by sprinkling chilli powder on the defacto complainant. Hence, he strongly opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

5.Considering the seriousness of the offence committed by the petitioners, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
