This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondents to grant permission to conduct Cock Fight on 09.12.2023 and 10.12.2023 in pursuance of the Sevakkaran Temple, Pulvayal Village, Illuppur Taluk, Pudukkottai District by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 25.11.2023.

2. Mr.R.M.Anbunithi, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner submitted that festival for the temple, by name, "Sevakkaran Temple, Pulvayal Village, Illuppur Taluk, Pudukkottai District", is going to be conducted. Subse0quent to the same, in order to conduct cock fight on 09.12.2023 and 10.12.2023, they sought permission of the Police by giving a representation dated 25.11.2023. But, the second respondent has not considered the said representation. Since no order was passed, the writ petitioner has come before this Court for the above said relief. 2/4

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that no proper permission is obtained by the petitioner from the concerned authority to conduct the above said cock fight.

5. Let the above said representation be disposed of, after ascertaining the ground situation whether the petitioner got proper permission from the concerned authority.

6. With the above said direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
