Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing respondents to release and disburse the scheme amount deposited under Sivagami Ammayar Female Child Protection Scheme in CAA087242, CAA 087241 in the name of petitioner's daughters namely Muthulakshmi and Saranya by considering the petitioner's representation dated 17.10.2022 and 01.12.2023 within a stipulated time. ORDER
Heard both sides.
2.The petitioner was blessed with two girl children. The elder one was born on 24.12.1999 and the younger one was born on 14.06.2001. The Government of Tamil Nadu had issued G.O.(Ms)No.199 dated 31.12.2001 for providing financial assistance in such cases. The District Social Welfare Officer had already called upon the fifth respondent to credit the deposit amount. It appears that the fifth respondent has raised 2/4
certain queries. The papers have now come back to the third respondent. The learned Additional Government Pleader informs the Court that queries will be properly answered and every effort will be taken to ensure that the petition mentioned scheme amounts are deposited in the respective bank accounts of the petitioner's children. This shall be done by the respondents within a period of five weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
