ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by a directly recruited Revenue Assistant in the Revenue Department, seeking a Mandamus as against the 2nd respondent herein to forward the proposal to the 1st respondent relating to inclusion of his name in the Deputy Tahsildar panel for the year 2017.

2. According to the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, in view of the fact that he had not completed the survey training before the crucial date i.e., 15.09.2017, his name was not included in the panel for Deputy Tahsildar of the year 2017. There is no fault on the part of the employee. Unless the department had deputed him for such survey training, he cannot attend the said training. The petitioner has given a representation on 02.03.2022 to the 3rd respondent and in 2/5

turn, he has forwarded the same to the 2nd respondent on 27.04.2023. However, the 2nd respondent is yet to forward the same to the 1st respondent herein for taking a final decision.

3. In view of the above said facts, the 2nd respondent is directed to forward the papers to the 1st respondent within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The 1st respondent on receipt of the said application, shall consider it on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of eight (8) weeks thereafter.

4. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
