Prayer:- Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus directing the respondents to produce the body or person of the petitioner's daughter Parkavi D/o. Kannan, aged about 21 years old, before this Court and set her liberty.

O R D E R

We had referred the matter to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre attached to Madurai Bench of Madras High Court on 13.10.2025. On that day, the petitioner was present and his daughter/detenue, who is aged 21 years is also present. The paternal uncle of the detenue and his son are also present.

2. We are deeply satisfied that an agreement has been reached among the parties, which had been enclosed with the Mediation and Conciliation report. The same is extracted below: ''6. The Following settlement has been arrived at between the parties hereto:

A. The detenue Barkavi aged 21 years as willing to go along with parents and no intension to marry the 3" party Mr.Saravanan.

B. The petitioner accept his daughter miss.K.Barkavi and agreed not to compels her for marriage without her consent. C. The 3 Party Mr. Saravanan Slo. Nallusamy is no way connected with the despite, and the detenue mistakenly used his name to avoid the marriage fixed by the father.

7. By signing this Agreement the parties hereto state that they have no further claims or demands against each other with respect to subject matter of HCP. (MD). No. 1188 of 2025 and all disputes and differences in this regard have been amicably settled by the parties hereto through the process of conciliation/Mediation''.

3.The said agreement dated 13.10.2025 has been duly signed by the petitioner, the detenue and also by the third party.

4. No further orders are required. This Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
