ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who was remanded to the judicial custody by the respondent police on 18.12.2013 for the alleged offence under Sections 498(A) 294(b), 506(ii) of IPC r/w Section 4 of TNPWH Act in Crime No.61 of 2013 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.
2. It is the case of the prosecution that the petitioner along with other accused had demanded dowry and harassed the defacto complainant's sister one Vijaya who is the wife of the petitioner.
3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that A2 to A4 in this case have already been released on anticipatory bail by the Sessions Court, Madurai in Crl.M.P.No.9900 of 2013 on 20.12.2013 and the petitioner is the husband and he is a Government Doctor.
4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that there is family dispute between the parties which leads to this criminal case.
5. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State and also perused the materials available on record.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case this Court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail on the following conditions. Accordingly, the petitioner is directed to be released on bail on executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tirumangalam, and on further condition that the petitioner appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation.
