ORDER

Heard both sides.

2. The petitioner questions the impugned peace committee meeting decision on the ground set out in the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition.

3. I have been consistently holding that the decision taken in the Peace Committee Meeting is not amenable to legal challenge because it is not having any statutory value or force. No legal consequence can flow therefrom. If any formal proceeding is issued by the statutory authority, that can always challenge the same in the manner known to law.

4. With this clarification, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 08.12.2023 Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes/ No rmi 2/4
