ORDER
The present writ petition has been filed by a PG Assistant (Tamil) Teacher seeking a Mandamus as against the 2nd respondent for disbursal of the incentive increment for obtaining higher qualification, namely M.Phil degree.
2. According to the writ petitioner, he had acquired M.Phil degree and based upon the said higher qualification, incentive increment was awarded by the 2nd respondent by his proceedings, dated 09.12.2019. However, so far the 2nd respondent has not initiated any steps for disbursing the said incentive increment. Hence, the present writ petition.
3. Considering the above said facts, the 2nd respondent is directed to initiate action for disbursement of the incentive increment based upon his order, dated 09.12.2019 within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
