PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the 2nd respondent herein to file a charge sheet in Crime No.241/2022 on the file of the respondent police for an alleged offence under section 436 IPC which was pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Vadipatti, Madurai District. ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking direction to the 2nd respondent herein to file a charge sheet in Crime No.241/2022 on the file of the respondent police for an alleged offence under section 436 IPC which was pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Vadipatti, Madurai District.

2.The petitioner is the defacto complainant in Crime No.241 of 2022, which was registered for the offences punishable under Sections 436 of IPC. The grievance of the petitioner is that though the case was registered in the year 2022, so far no progress is made in this case. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent would submit that within 2 months, investigation will be completed and the final report will be filed before the concerned court. 4.Recording the submission and accepting the request made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, there shall be a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report within a 2/4

period of 2 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.Accordingly, this criminal original petition stands disposed of. 11.12.2023 NCC :
