JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was delivered by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM,J.) This Writ Appeal is directed against the order dated 29.09.2023 made in W.P.(MD).No.18619 of 2018.

2.The Writ Petition was instituted, questioning the validity of the order of the District Revenue Officer, Sivagangai District dated 31.07.2018. The claim of the appellant is that his grandfather purchased the property and he is in possession of the sale deed. However, the genunity of such documents is to be adjudicated through the competent civil Court of law. 3.We cannot conduct rowing enquiry and give a finding regarding the title of the immovable property. The learned Single Judge, considering the complex nature of the facts and circumstances placed by the appellant before the Writ Court, relegated him to approach the competent civil Court of law within a period of eight weeks.

4.Since the Writ Court has relegated the writ petitioner to approach the competent civil Court rightly so, we are not inclined to interfere with the order impugned herein. Accordingly, this Writ Appeal stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
