This writ petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to re-assign/re-allot the land comprised in R.S.No.379, measuring an extent of 3 acres 88 cents situated at Chellappanayakkanpatti Post, Natham Taluk, Dindigul District vide representation dated 27.08.2022.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 4 submitted that the third respondent will consider the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders within the time frame stipulated by this Court. 2/5
3. In view of the above submissions, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 27.08.2022 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. Such representation shall be considered and disposed of after conducting an inquiry, affording a reasonable opportunity to the petitioner, respondents 5 to 11 and to all other persons who may be affected by such decision during the course of the inquiry. In the event of any issues pertaining to land disputes, the parties shall approach the competent civil court. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
