Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission and protection for conducting "Temple Festival" scheduled to be held on 26.09.2025 to 07.10.2025 in Arulmigu Sri Rajakaliamman Temple at Kalathupatti, Mondipatti Village, Manapparai Taluk, Trichy District based on the petitioner's representation dated 14.09.2025. ORDER

The Writ Petition is filed for Mandamus to direct the respondents to grant permission and protection for conducting "Temple Festival" scheduled to be held on 26.09.2025 to 07.10.2025 in Arulmigu Sri Rajakaliamman Temple at Kalathupatti, Mondipatti Village, Manapparai Taluk, Trichy District based on the petitioner's representation dated 14.09.2025.

2. Admittedly, the respondents have not considered the petitioner's representation so far.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the respondents would consider the representation of the petitioner and communicate the decision taken thereon to the petitioner by 29.09.2025.

4. Recording the aforesaid submission, this Writ Petition stands disposed of with direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law and communicate 2/4

the same to the petitioner by 29.09.2025. This Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs.
