ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the 1st and 2nd Respondents Police not to interfere into the civil dispute and consequently directing him not to harass the Petitioner and his family members under the guise of enquiry without due process of law.

2. Learned Government Advocate submitted that on the basis of the complaint given by one Backiyalakshmi, enquiry was undertaken. During the course of enquiry it is found that, the issue between the parties is civil in nature. A suit in O.S.No.192 of 1993 is pending before the Additional Sub Court, Trichy and an undertaking was given by the petitioner to work out remedy in the pending suit itself. On the basis of the undertaking given by the petitioner, the complaint was closed. 2/4

3. In view of the above submission, nothing survives for further adjudication. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
