Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records in pursuant to the impugned order in Na.Ka.No.107/Mike/SDOP /2025 dated 15.09.2025 passed by the 1st respondent and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.09.2025 and to grant permission to conduct public demonstration on 05.10.2025, Sunday at 4.00 PM near Marvar Mandapam, Kadayanallur Main Road, Thenkasi District.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the impugned order dated 15.09.2025 and consequently, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 22.09.2025 and grant permission to conduct public demonstration on 05.10.2025, Sunday at 4.00 PM near Marvar Mandapam, Kadayanallur Main Road, Tenkasi District.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, would submit that since the petitioner was specific about the place, which is situated on the national highway and it might cause obstruction of traffic and lead to accidents, permission was rejected; and that the respondents are willing to grant permission to conduct public demonstration near New Bus Stand, Kadayanallur, Tenkasi District.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, would submit that the petitioner is agreeable for the same. 2/4

4. In view of the said submission, the respondents may consider the petitioner's request on such terms and conditions as may be fixed for conducting public demonstration near New Bus Stand, Kadayanallur, Tenkasi District.

5. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
