This writ petition has been filed to quash the order passed by the second respondent to its order bearing Ref. 010600/MA/LD-43/17/2024 dated 03.04.2024 and consequently to direct the respondents to disburse 2/6
Rs.75,072/- spent by the petitioner for the treatment underwent by her husband T.Christoper, within a stipulated time fixed by this Court.
2. The Challenge in this writ petition is to the proceedings of the second respondent rejecting the claim of the petitioner as time-barred.
3. Heard the learned counsel on either side.
4. It is to be noted that the petitioner had also taken an application to the third respondent seeking for redressal of her grievance.
5. In view of the same, this Court is of the considered view that the issue can be placed before the third respondent for appropriate consideration and, the third respondent is directed to consider the claim made by the petitioner in her representation dated 23.07.2024.
6. In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.07.2024 as against the order dated 03.04.2024 issued by the second respondent on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/6
