The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect. He would further submit that the investigation is pending for a long time.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the respondent is conducting the investigation in an effective manner and they would file a final report within a period of one (1) month.

3. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn and Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
