****** Today when the matter was taken up for consideration, it is reported by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that on completion of trial, the petitioner was acquitted by the learned Additional Sessions Judge, Pudukkottai, by order dated 26.08.2013, in S.C.No.18 of 2013 and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in this petition.

2. In view of the above, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.

Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
