The Civil Miscellaneous Petition has been filed seeking orders to condone the delay of 74 days in filing the appeal against the award, dated 13.02.2025 made in M.C.O.P.No.26 of 2020 on the file of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Subordinate Judge, Eraniel.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing on 09.06.2026, there was no representation for R1 and R2. Even today, there is no representation for R1 and R2.
3. Despite receipt of notice, R3 and R4 have not turned up.
4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 5 and 6 and also perused the records.
5. Considering the reasons assigned and also taking note of the quantum of delay, this Court is inclined to condone the delay. Accordingly, this petition is ordered and the Registry is directed to take the appeal on file, if it is otherwise in order and list the matter in the regular course.
