PRAYER :- For Bail in Crime No.110 of 2023 on the file of the Respondent Police. ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 10.10.2023 1/3

for the alleged offence punishable under Section 394 IPC in Crime No.110 of 2023, on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that when the defacto complainant returned from work, the accused persons waylaid her and snatched 6 sovereigns of gold chain from the defacto complainant and escaped from the scene of occurrence. Hence the case.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would contend that the petitioner is innocent and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He would further submit that the petitioner is in custody from 10.10.2023, hence he seeks bail.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent Police would submit that the petitioner is having 17 previous cases and hence, he strongly opposed to grant bail to the petitioner.

5.Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record. 2/3

6.Considering the facts and circumstances and considering the bad antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
