ORDER

The Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking a direction to dispose of the appeal in A.S.No.61 of 2019 on the file of the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Tiruchirappalli, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the suit for specific performance was filed and the same was decreed; that the defendants have preferred an appeal in A.S.No.61 of 2019 and the same is pending on the file of the Principal District and Sessions Judge, Tiruchirappalli. He would further submit that though the records have already been received, the case is being adjourned again and again for arguments.

3. Considering the above and also taking note of the fact that the appeal is pending for the past four years, the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Tiruchirappalli, is hereby directed to hear the appeal and dispose of the same within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
