Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorari, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order of the 1st respondent in Na.Ka.Vu. (1)/22354/2021 dated 16.11.2023 and quash the same. ORDER
Heard both sides.
2. The petitioner was licensed to run the establishment belonging to TTDC. The petitioner was in arrears. The said arrear amount is now sought to be recovered by invoking the provisions of the Revenue Recovery Act. At this stage, the petitioner has come to this Court.
3. In the impugned notice, it has been mentioned that the petitioner's liability is to the tune of Rs.12,55,468/-.
4. Since I am inclined to grant installment facility to the petitioner, the said amount is rounded off to Rs.13,00,000/-. The petitioner shall pay 25% of the said amount within six weeks from today. The remaining 75% of the 2/4
amount shall be paid by the petitioner in 7 monthly installments. Each installment shall be paid on or before 5th of every month. If the petitioner commits default in paying two installments successively, the benefit of this order will stand automatically vacated. It will be open to the respondents to proceed further in accordance with law.
