O R D E R

The petitioner seeks transfer of C.C.No.344 of 2010 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court, Palani to any other Judicial Magistrate Court in Madurai.

2. The petitioner wants transfer on the ground that her husband is giving life threat to her.

3. When the matter was taken up for disposal, the learned counsel for the accused submitted that the husband has since committed suicide. Therefore, the apprehension set out by the petitioner no longer survives. However, the second respondent is directed to afford sufficient police protection to the petitioner and others, when they come for deposing evidence during trial.

4. The case is of the year 2010. The learned Judicial Magistrate, Palani is directed to complete the trial within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With these directions, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
