ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to disburse the interest at the rate of 6% as per court direction for belated payment of terminal benefits of Gratuity, Provident Fund and Leave Salary to the petitioner.

2. Considering the admitted fact that there has been a delay in payment, the petitioner is entitled to statutory interest as provided under law.

3. In view of the same, the writ petition stands disposed of. The respondents are directed to pay interest at the rate of 6% per annum on the belated terminal benefits payable to the petitioner from the date of his entitlement till the date of his payment within a period of twelve weeks 2/4

from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
