2.The only request made by the writ petitioner is that the second respondent must consider his application for issuance of transit pass. 3.The second respondent is directed to dispose of the writ petitioner's application on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I have not gone into the merits of the matter.

4.With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
