TNMMDR Act, 1957, in Crime No.126 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the de-facto complainant found that the accused persons were involved in illegal sand mining by using their vehicles, JCB and lorry. Hence, the case.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is innocent and a false case has been foisted against him. Hence, he seeks anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that the de-facto complainant found that the accused persons were involved in illegal sand mining by using their vehicles, JCB and lorry. Hence, he objected to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 5.Considering the nature of allegations levelled as against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
