ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 296(b), 115(2) of BNS and Sections 5(1) and 6 of POCSO Act in Crime No.33 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the de-facto complainant and the petitioner are said to be relatives. When the de-facto prior was a minor, the petitioner has expressed

his willingness that he is in love with her and agreeing to the same, both have loved each other. During the course of their love, now when the de-facto complainant has pressurized the petitioner herein to marry her, the petitioner has turned down to his words and threatened her with dire consequences Hence, a case has been registered. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and he has not committed any offence. He seeks this Court to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) strongly opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. After considering the arguments of both sides elaborately, taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, the nature and gravity of the offence and the specific overt act against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner at this stage.

6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 29-10-2025 Tmg
