ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to pay interest at the rate of 12% per annum, for the period of delay from the petitioner`s date of retirement (30.11.2023) to till the date of reimbursement (25.08.2025) of amount paid towards the petitioner's terminal and pension benefits, namely, EPF Employee's Contribution, Gratuity, Encashment of Earned/Sick Leaves and other monetary benefits etc., within a time frame as may be fixed by this Court, without affecting the petitioner's right to claim balance amounts towards those benefits.

2. Considering the admitted fact that there has been a delay in payment and based on the representation of the petitioner, dated 08.09.2025, the respondents are directed to disburse the interest amount as per the relevant statutory provisions, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
