This Civil Revision Petition has been filed to direct the Family Page No.1/4

Court, Kanyakumari at Nagercoil to dispose of the Divorce Petition in I.D.O.P.No.879 of 2022 on its file, within a time as may be fixed by this Court.

2. The marriage between the parties took place on 05.01.2022. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, within a month from the date of marriage, the respondent left the matrimonial home and living separately and filed I.D.O.P.No.879 of 2022. There is no possibility of reunion and even the respondent entered appearance and notice was ordered to the respondent, she chose to appear through the father as power agent and thereafter, matter is kept pending without any progress. 3.Though the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that even the respondent is ready for the earlier disposal of the matter. But, there is no particulars available as to whether the matter was referred to Mediation or conciliation process was undertaken or not? The further submission of the learned counsel is that the matter got to be settled through Mediation process only. Since the matter is of the year 2022 and considering the fact that the respondent is also ready for speedy disposal, both of them are directed to jointly make a request before the trial Court. On such request and after going through the Mediation process, it may be disposed of by the trial Court.

4. With the above observation, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
