O R D E R

After presenting a revision petition, wrongly described as an appeal, before the District Revenue Officer, on or about 25.08.2025, the petitioner seeks the early disposal thereof.

2. Learned Special Government Pleader points out that there is confusion as to whether the petitioner filed a revision against the order dated 07.07.2025 of the Revenue Divisional Officer or a petition for rectification of alleged UDR errors. Without prejudice, he submits that the District Revenue Officer would consider and dispose of the petition on merits after hearing all parties concerned.

3. On perusal of the petition filed by the petitioner before the District Revenue Officer, it is clear that it is labelled as an appeal. There are about six respondents thereto. As submitted by learned Special Government Pleader, paragraph 9 thereof also refers to correction of alleged UDR errors. This aspect may have to be examined by the District Revenue Officer.

Subject to the above observations, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's revision, wrongly described as an appeal, within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after providing a reasonable opportunity to all parties thereto.
