ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to quash the impugned final report in C.C.No.183 of 2019 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thuraiyur, which was filed for the offences under Section 408, 468 and 471 of IPC.

2. During the course of arguments, when this Court expressed that the points raised by the learned counsel for the petitioner are factual in nature, the learned counsel for the petitioner sought permission to withdraw this petition. However, he would submit that the impugned final report is filed in the year 2019 for the alleged occurrence that took place in the year 2006; that the Trial Court may be directed to dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible; and that the personal appearance of the petitioner before the Trial Court may be dispensed with.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent would submit that the prosecution evidence is closed and the case is now listed for questioning under Section 313 of Cr.P.C. 2/4

4. In view of the above submission, this Court finds no reason to dispense with the petitioner's appearance before the Trial Court at this stage. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
